opeNWave creates confined atmospheres with the latest single ‘Lockdown’. Influences range between the ambient/neoclassical piano stylings of Max Richter and Olafur Arnalds, as well as the touching saxophone of Jan Garbarek. Along with this, the composer is also inspired by the soundscapes of Robert Fripp. opeNWave comes from the North of France, and has always been passionate about music. This passion would lead to a master’s degree in musicology.
opeNWave adds their thoughts about music production and how they felt about releasing the video for ‘Lockdown’ , “The theme is not original. Sadly. But even more so during this time, Music is a journey. A way to run away, to escape inside. “
