yetep released his debut full-length album, The ÿ Album, today on Lost In Dreams. He began his journey in Seoul, Korea, and later moved to Los Angeles, where he built a following by sharing monthly mixes on SoundCloud. Listeners around the world were drawn to the emotion in his music. Artists like Seven Lions, Dabin, and Adventure Club have supported him, and he has also released music on Lost In Dreams, Ophelia, and Monstercat.
After releasing the lead single in May, yetep’s album blends melodic bass, future bass, and emotional EDM sounds. This mix brings the same energy, vulnerability, and sense of connection that fans know from his shows and community. The ÿ Album highlights themes of freedom and curiosity. Each track stands on its own, but together they reflect yetep’s musical journey, which began with open format mixes and a spirit of discovery.
yetep cares deeply about community, which shows in his Common Unitÿ charity work supporting homeless youth and mental health awareness. That sense of unity is at the heart of the album. Created over a long period, it reflects both his music and personal growth. The ÿ Album is his most personal project yet, pushing his artistic boundaries while staying true to what made him successful. 
yetep shared this: “When I first started writing this album, I wanted it to feel open format. I started my music career making mixes on SoundCloud and posting them on Tumblr, just playing whatever I loved with no genre rules at all. That freedom is what made me fall in love with music in the first place. With this album, I wanted to bring that same energy back, the way my live sets feel. It’s all over the place on purpose. It’s genreless, and I’m really proud of that. There’s something on this album for everyone, and I think that’s what makes it special.“
