This is the second cut from his forthcoming Memories of Tomorrow, an album drenched in retro synths and deep, time-twisted soundscapes. After ‘Beyond and Deep Down’ broke through with a Electronic Groove premiere and Radio Eins airplay, Ohara’s trajectory keeps climbing—30 million streams, a summer gig at Babel in Ibiza, and a rep for dodging genre boxes. Based in Berlin, he’s teamed up with Apparat, Chilly Gonzales, and Acid Pauli, while driving The Odd Orchestra and Feathered Sun. Echoing Nina Simone and ambient roots, his sound pulls in fans of Moderat, Bonobo, and Connan Mockasin.
The track ‘Ignited’ is a bright, airy ride with a solid bassline anchoring its hypnotic percussion.
