On June 27, 2025, Raz Ohara came back with ‘Ignited’, his newest single out now on House Of Frequency. This is the second cut from his forthcoming Memories of Tomorrow, an album drenched in retro synths and deep, time-twisted soundscapes. After ‘Beyond and Deep Down’ broke through with a Electronic Groove premiere and Radio Eins airplay, Ohara’s trajectory keeps climbing—30 million streams, a summer gig at Babel in Ibiza, and a rep for dodging genre boxes. Based in Berlin, he’s teamed up with Apparat, Chilly Gonzales, and Acid Pauli, while driving The Odd Orchestra and Feathered Sun. Echoing Nina Simone and ambient roots, his sound pulls in fans of Moderat, Bonobo, and Connan Mockasin.
The track ‘Ignited’ is a bright, airy ride with a solid bassline anchoring its hypnotic percussion. Arpeggiated leads weave in and out, and Ohara tweaks the mix—adding and dropping elements to build a subtle, rolling tension. His voice, dusky yet resonant, carries a fierce, soulful weight that ties the hopeful vibe together.
Raz Ohara reflected on its meaning: “This song is about not losing the trust in ourselves. Every challenge or lesson we need to conquer throughout life is only as hard and difficult as each individual is able to take and solve it. We are perfectly equipped for it – we need to remember and rely on this – also you need to find the right practices that can help you to stay present, healthy, and strong.”
