Danny’s soulful first effort is heavily influenced by ECM’s contemporary jazz, Balearic sounds and 90s neo-soul, with a hybrid sound-design edge, blending laid-back organic tones with left-field electronic production. Self-produced and recorded with the help of a close-knit team of well-known Israeli contemporary music artists including drummer Roy Reemy and multi-instrumentalist Yuli Shafriri, ‘Come Play With Me’, is a striking introduction and a glimpse into her upcoming EP.
