Jacy is set to release “Brand New” featuring Myles Parrish of Kalin and Myles on the 23rd June. Produced by Foolish Ways (who are responsible for Flo Rida’s smash hit single, “Cake” Top 40 & Billboard Hot 100), “Brand New” looks set to garner attention from critics and fans alike.
The 17-year-old singer/songwriter started her career at the tender age 13. By 15, she had released her first single and since then she has been gaining serious traction with her music.
In August 2016 Jacy began promoting her Breakaway Tour which is a youth enlightening program aimed at students. The tour goes to Middle and High Schools promoting positivity and good vibes through music and motivational speeches that youngsters can relate to. Always reassuring them that anything in life is possible and if they can dream it they can achieve it, the Breakaway Tour is in its 5th year this 2016/2017 school season.
Says Jacy of the new single: “I am so proud of it!! I think it shows who I am as an artist, it’s my sound! Growing up, my singing teacher told me not to sing breathy and the way I was meant to sing… so for awhile I thought I should not sound the way I was meant to. But working with Foolish Ways, they loved my inherent tone, so it feels raw and authentic”
