Synthposium is an annual Moscow-based festival exploring a new interdisciplinary culture formed at the junction of electronic music and technology, with the development of music and culture as the goal. The festival is a big event for a wide audience and a unique interactive platform for demonstrating engineering ideas, digital developments and the results of creative search for the most relevant talents from different spheres.
A series of talks, documentaries and art exhibitions will take place during both the day and evening, with three after parties at popular clubbing venues in Moscow including performances by a string of major artists: Max Cooper, Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe, Richard Devine, Ulrich Schnauss, Richard Fearless(Death in Vegas), London Modular Alliance, Frank Muller aka Beroshima, Todd Sines, Throwing Shade, Baseck, Jacek Sienkiewicz, Rhizome aka Nikita Zabelin, Thomas P. Heckmann, Morphology, Pinkshinyultrablast, Opuswerk, Interchain, Interval and PTU and many more.
Visual artists include Alexey Rudenko aka arhew0, Anastasya Alekhina, Andrey Guryanov , Formic Acid , Galina Leonova, Misak Samokatyan, Pasha Seldemirov, Stain and Vahram Akimyan.
A parallel awards ceremony will take place for the first time at Synthposium, awarding prizes to the best engineering, the best interface designs and concepts, and artists with the most technologically advanced live shows.
