Producers eevee and sweeep share vandalism and selfcare LP

Two producers, respected in their own rights, eevee and sweeep have combined their artistic abilities and interlocked their individual sounds to piece together an album that feels like a musical friendship. The LP, titled vandalism and selfcare and released by none other than eevee’s label Secret Souls, drifts like clouds in the atmosphere.

It is easy to imagine oneself listening to the project while sitting by a window, watching the day float by. Sampled guitars and reversed textures illuminate the darker, more sinister moments in the album. The clouds merge, overshadowing the light.

The name of the project says it all. vandalism and selfcare is an oxymoron that illustrates a juxtaposition between soft, soothing sounds and harsher, more jarring noises. Together, these opposing tones create a composition that highlights eevee’s Lofi background and sweeep’s love of experimental sound design. All in all, the project is a culmination of both producers’ strengths.
