Music producer Palence has released a new EP ‘Telophase’

Savanh Phaophanit, better known as palence has just released his newest EP titled “Telophase” via The Playground Records. The 5-track EP which he produced using a 1971 Tandberg 4000X reel to reel player was released on 1 September 2017. Palence shared the first single off the upcoming album, ‘Scarp’ – an energetic yet moody atmospheric track that is rich and deeply textured.

He describes his music as ‘Post-Sludge’ – putting together elements from various genres to form his distinct sound. Innovatively, for telophase he incorporated precisely tweaked drum patterns, a variety of customised synths and a Lo-fi ambience.

In an exclusive interview with the Playground, he mentioned several collaborations in the running which he wouldn’t reveal just yet. He is also excited to announce that he will be self-releasing a mid-length EP titled ‘Torpor’ later in the year along with a video.

Telophase Tracklist:
