Since their inception in 2009, the genre-defying Submotion Orchestra has moved seamlessly between deep electronica, jazz, soul and ambient downtempo, mesmerizing audiences from Iceland to India.

Their recent studio album ‘Kites’ saw the band gloriously return to the smoky, jazz-infused electronica which made ‘Finest Hour’ the cult record that it has now become. 2019 celebrates 10 years of Submotion Orchestra. After all these years their music and live performances have become iconic – brimming with honesty, integrity, and beauty.
