Molécule’s new music video ‘Violence’

French electronic producer Molécule, had just shared the video of his newest single Violence that has been directed by acclaimed indie videographer and visual artist Morgan Beringer, celebrated for his work with The Rolling Stones, Ghostly International and National Geographic. The video has been premiered by Red Bull Music.

Molécule went on a 5 week  journey across the North Atlantic Ocean in order to shape the dark and mind-altering album, to portray the emblematic beauty of nature, alongside the more tragic aspects of humankind and human fate.

Molécule is the head of independent Parisian label Mille Feuilles, and has worked with prominent labels in the past such as Sounds Around, Aktarus, Underdog Records and Play It Again Sam, respectively, and has released numerous remixes, singles, EPs and seven full-length LPs

The music video for Violence shows chaos, reminding us of our survival instinct, the habit of sled-hunting, tracking and that death is an everyday fact of life.

Molécule explains the inspiration behind his latest release, “I did not return completely unscathed from my intense trip to Greenland. While in our modern society of mass consumption slaughterhouses are almost hidden, the Inuit culture allows these visions, these images can be shocking but testify of a consumption culture under control with almost no waste.”
