Swedish producer Klur, known offstage as Patrik Kindvall, puts out his second album, After The Rain, today, October 3, through the reliable Colorize label. Picking up from his 2022 debut Visions, the record tightens up his mix of intricate arrangements, field-inspired samples, and direct emotional pulls that have made him a standout in progressive and melodic house. With north of 100 million streams on Spotify under his belt, a nod in STIM‘s top 100 emerging Swedish songwriters, and steady airtime on SiriusXM Chill, Klur has pulled in endorsements from the likes of Lane 8, Above & Beyond, Black Coffee, and Armin van Buuren. It’s the kind of backing that keeps his profile climbing in the electronic world.

Teaser tracks gave a solid glimpse into what’s here: ‘Sequoia’ layers in outdoor recordings with bright, sustained synths and subtle psychedelic edges for a track that draws you right in. On ‘Impossible’, he links up with Los Angeles singer LeyeT, letting her warm vocals ride over broad, unhurried rhythms and open spaces. ‘Unbound’, built with his go-to collaborator BJOERN, hits with straightforward builds and a clean sense of drive. The album’s namesake, ‘After The Rain’, teams Klur with Norway’s Ole-Bjørn Talstad on piano, weaving ambient drifts into tight melodic lines that show off his sharper edges.

Klur has stuck with Colorize since early singles like ‘Summit’ and ‘Odysée’, right through to the ones that broke big—‘Floating’, ‘Entangled’, and ‘Roots’—always digging deeper into what makes melodic house click without losing its core. He’ll take these songs out for a North American run in early 2026, with the full schedule to follow later this year. Klur put it this way: “This album feels like a natural continuation of Visions, but also a leap forward. Each track represents a piece of a journey—personal and sonic. ‘After The Rain’ for me brings that feeling of starting fresh, finding new inspiration in both new and old ideas and just letting the music guide me somewhere raw and real.
