Mastered by Frank Arkwright (New Order, Joy Division, Coldplay) at the famous Abbey Road, ‘Lost in Time’ is a beautifully crafted track reminiscent of early Air with a splash of Moby. The purposefully repetitive synth arpeggio holds the track down, hypnotising the listener, while a relaxing brass melody purrs over verdant strings and distant bird melodies.

It’s pleasant yet melancholic, while always relaxing. The brass melody is hypnotic, juxtaposed by cascading piano scales that come and go at intervals. There’s also an impressive use of sustained, reverbed guitar to add space and depth to the mix. Something you might find on an old Fleetwood Mac record. It sounds like a quiet day at the beach, with no work on the horizon, and only a colourful drink and a book to keep you company. Its textbook Kinobe, beautifully crafted, lush and meditative, perfect for any chillout session.

Kinobe elaborates: “This album is a sonic representation of driving down the highways of my mind at sunrise towards Shangri-la, which is always hiding just over the horizon.”
