German electronic duo, Junge Junge have released ‘I’m The One’ via Universal Music.
It’s been four years since the group first came onto our radar with their sweet-sounding hits ‘Run Run Run,’ ‘Beautiful Girl’ and ‘I Don’t Love You (I’m Just Lonely)’ that reached over 80 million combined streams via Spotify. ‘Run Run Run’ received Double Platinum while the title track ‘Beautiful Girl’ earned Gold awards and has been placed in the Top 30 for 20 weeks, and Top 40 for 30 weeks consecutively.
Rochus Grolle, who remains one of Germany’s most creative DJ’s since the early 2000’s and Michael Noacktogether formed Junge Junge with the intention of creating a unique and sublime sound – which they not only achieved, but made it look easy. The duo has done a lot of touring during which they have performed at top festivals such as Pacha Ibiza, Germany’s Magnetic Festival, HYTE on New Year’s Eve in Berlin and WET Open Air.
Junge Junge has an upbeat sound along with sharp-witted lyrics. They are said to draw inspiration from like-minded artists such as Glashaus, Charlie Puth, James Arthur and Avicii.
Speaking on latest single ‘I’m The One’, Junge Junge comments: “This is a special song about being there to support the people you care about through difficult times.”
