Feverkin’s song ‘Element & Moderate’ is the first one to be released from the Deep Heads record label’s fourth music compilation Cosmic Vibrations Vol. 4, which will feature notable artists in the ambient and downtempo sphere, including Hidden Orchestra and Bonobo to name only two (the label head Zeb Samuels will feature too). The compilation will be available on the 26th of May this year.

The record tap dances interesting percussive articulations on a hardwood surface of bass glides, grace notes, and moody tonal colourations. Bowed strings swoon among glittering bells and free-spirited piano notes that accent the more down-the-line drum rhythms. That is not to say they’re repetitive. They are anything but. Subtle imperfections in the groove give the whole pattern a pleasant swing, conveying an easygoing atmosphere; the swing is not too much, but just right. It exists in a goldilocks zone of groove.
