Originating from the US, passionate musician Villows has released a brand track titled ‘Vivid’ under Careless Collective. Growing up, he took part in New Jersey’s pop-punk milieu until he discovered his passion and niche in synthesised house music, taking a step back from the guitar he was playing at the time. The musician is the recipient of noteworthy support from tastemaker webzines like Acid Stag and Casablanca Sunset among others.

The vocalisation in ‘Vivid’ is velvet and slightly breathy mesmerising and transporting listeners to fantasies composed of white sandy beaches, turquoise blue ocean waters, a golden yellow sun in the sky and a delicious cold drink in hand. The sensation is tranquil and warm, but the brief moment is over too soon, like a much-deserved vacation.
Musician Villow shares his thought on dreams with these words: “Seeing yourself in a dream is such a strange and borderline nightmarish experience. It could mean many things, but I like to think it’s your mind telling you to re-evaluate who you’ve been lately”.
