Pianist and composer vaghy has shared a music video for his single ‘Bite’. The track was extracted from his upcoming album Granum, the release of which will happen on the 26th of May this year. Until then, vaghy has made an effort to tide us over with a new mixed-medium, multi-media video. Available now under Théque Records.

The video for ‘Bite’ gives us a new perspective. Like time sped up, we get to witness glimpses of lives lived captured in momentary frames captured on film. It is as if we are on the outside looking in, inhabiting a 3rd-person perspective. As an artwork, it stands out. As a music video, it draws us in. What inspired this?

vaghy says: “The pace and atmosphere of the ‘Bite’ spinning wheel were born from an image I saw at an exhibition. The funny thing is that I didn’t even remember the work of art itself anymore, I only felt the atmosphere and the drift, which then took its final form on the piano.”
