Belgian musician and composer Poltrock continues to fascinate and captivate listeners with his signature experimental, electronic sound that is both melodic and innovative in its delivery. Poltrock has just delivered a fresh single to the world, a mesmerising piece titled ‘(And that’s why I don’t call this song) Forrow’. The new track is taken from his forthcoming album, ‘Machines’, which will be available later this month, on the 16th November.
The new LP release will mark the completion of Poltrock’s trilogy of albums, ‘Mutes, Moods and Machines’, a hypnotic musical journey that explores and showcases a myriad of moods, all created by Poltrock’s meticulous piano melodies and layers of experimental electronica and all highlighting a different approach to the 88 piano keys.
In a press release, Poltrock comments, “The original ‘Forrow’ was one of my first experiments with ‘prepared pianos’ in which I disrespectfully treated my beloved Steinway upright with wall paper and duct tape. Unfortunately, none of these experiments made it to the final cut of the track. By accidentally muting the layered prepared pianos at some point, I revealed a really exciting and transparently groovy track that was way better than the original.”
