Former BBC Pitch Battle winner and singer-songwriter Becky Bowe has released her new single, ‘Getting Older’ via Two Bridge Recordings. The single falls off of her upcoming EP, which is set to release this summer. Bowe shares her thoughts about the delicate topic of losing touch with people that you were close with, along the way of building your life and growing up.
Becky Bowe shares, “‘Getting Older’ is about the point in your life where you are so focused on what you want to do but you lose focus in your social life. It’s a song describing that journey of growing up and how it feels really bizarre and that everything sometimes becomes an excuse but eventually you get the hang of it. You might lose touch with people on the way but then become close again. It’s about not allowing yourself to get worked up about it. It’s just the process of growing up’”
Muze FM adds, “Bowe’s vocals shine bright among the cheerful soundscapes in ‘Getting Older’, with a heartfelt sentiment in her lyrics and soaring vocal stylings.”
Chill Music adds, “Bowe shares her opinion on a process that we all have to go through in our lives, whether we like it or not. The songstress handles the conflict in the lyrics with graceful conviction in her vocals.”

Hi there would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using? I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m having a hard time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S Sorry for being off-topic but I had to ask!
